Letter to parents
Dear Harding University High Parents and Families:
I want to extend to you and your child my warmest welcome into my classroom. I will be your child’s Career Technology Teacher this semester. I will be teaching Entrepreneurship I and II Honors; your child is a student in one of these classes.
My philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and each child learns in a different way. One of my jobs as a teacher is to help your child discover his or her individuality and work as a team (teacher, parent and student) to maximize their educational opportunity. I believe in hands-on experiences, learning creatively and through active student participation.
I am looking forward to interacting with you and your child the 2016-2017 school year. Attached to this page you will find a Syllabus, Student Survey and Classroom Procedures. The student survey is used to update contact information, receive information about both the parent and student and the Academic Honesty Policy & Plagiarism outlines HUHS policy, there is a signature required, from parent and student, stating that you have read and understand the syllabus. Please return signed survey form. It is imperative that we have this survey form on file to better assist your child in their education.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me via email at
